FAQ’s
Q: Do you offer classes for over-50s or chair-based strength training in NW1?
A: Yes. I run a Thursday morning class at St Mark’s Church, Primrose Hill, NW1 7TN, specifically for older adults, and I also offer 1:1 sessions designed to suit their needs.
Q: What’s the benefit of smaller group or individual training compared to a class?
A: Personal or small-group sessions allow me to focus entirely on your individual goals, technique and progress - something that’s harder to do in a larger class setting.
Q: Can I book a 1:1 session at home if I live outside Primrose Hill or Kentish Town?
A: I do travel a little further on occasion, so it’s always worth asking.
Q: Can I join your class if I’m new to exercise and over 50?
A: Absolutely. All fitness levels are welcome. If you’re brand new to exercise or have any health concerns, I recommend checking first with your doctor.
Q: How long are the classes and sessions?
A: Classes last around 45 minutes. Personal training sessions are one hour.
Q: What if I don’t enjoy the first class, do you offer a refund?
A: Yes. If you don’t enjoy your first class, you’ll receive a full refund.
Q: Do I need to bring anything to the class?
A: All equipment is provided. Just bring a bottle of water and your energy!
Q: What should I wear?
A: Comfortable clothing and supportive shoes, ideally trainers.
Q: What qualifications do you hold?
A: I’m a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor (Levels 2 & 3), with additional training in Older Adult Fitness (Levels 1 & 2), resistance bands, and pre- & post-natal fitness (The Well HQ). I’m a CIMSPA member and fully insured.
Q: What do you charge for 1:1 training?
A: Prices vary depending on your circumstances and how many sessions you’d like each week. Please get in touch to discuss.
